DCE MAKES A COURTESY VISIT TO OSUDOKU TRADITIONAL COUNCIL.

 

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai-Osudoku, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe has made a courtesy visit to the Osudoku Traditional Council stating that meaningful development can not occur in isolation from traditional leadership.

 

To this end, he said it was important to promote and partner key stakeholders such as the Traditional Council to derive maximum benefit from the development potential of the district.

 

The rationale for the visit was to formally introduce himself to the Council while seeking a common front for the development of the District.

 

Addressing the council, he underscored his commitment to inclusive governance and development in harmony with the broader national vision.

 

Outlining key areas for development, he mentioned areas such as infrastructure development, agricultural advancement, educational support, empowering traditional governance and allocation of land.

 

Under educational support, he disclosed that his outfit would provide scholarship for brilliant but needy students and a deliberate effort to support the training of Dangbe language teachers to preserve the culture and identity of Ga- Dangbe.

 

The DCE envisions the need to earmark land for future infrastructure development to enable the Assembly respond swiftly when the need arises. 

 

On his part, the Paramount Chief of Osudoku, Nene Kweku Otiti Animle VII, congratulated the DCE on behalf of Osudoku state for his assumption of office and foresight for the state.

 

He pledged the renewed commitment of the Osudoku state to supporting the broad outlined vision of development of the state.
