THE DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF THE SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT, MEETS WITH THE SHAI TRADITIONAL COUNCIL TO INTRODUCE HIMSELF TO THE CHIEFS AND QUEENMOTHERS.
The District Chief Executive of the Shai Osudoku District, Hon.Ignatius Godfred Dordoe express his heartfelt gratitude to the Shai Traditional Council for their unwavering support during his appointment and outlines his ambitious development agenda for the District progress and prosperity during the first General meeting for the year at the Traditional Council at Dodowa on Thursday 10th July,2025.
The Chief Executive,his Management and party executives were present at the meeting which include, Dr.Abdul Rahman, Deputy Director of the Assembly, Hon. Denis Adjanor Nartey, Assembly Member of Agomeda electoral area and Regional NADMO Director Greater Accra Region,Ms Felicia Hagan Right to Information Officer,Mr.Augustine Otu,Communication Officer for the DCE,Hon.Kaikpo, Assembly Member for Aperko electoral area, Pastor Senyo, special aid for the DCE.
In a brief presentation by The District Chief Executive, He stated that the Traditional Council forms part of the Local Government which is the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs. Therefore, in order to enhance the Local Government, there is the need for the Traditional Council to support, guide and cooperate for the development and prosperity of the District.
He further stated that, He will allocate some funds to run the affairs of the Shai Traditional Council every quarter of the year, this allocation will support the day-to-day activities of the Council.
He further promised to renovate their structure and also donate a billboard to the council.
In His final statement, He stated that there is going to be a lot of developmental projects in the District since the Government have realised the Districts common fund to aid them to embark on these projects which include schools, uncompleted projects like the Dodowa market, roads and other projects, water projects at Agomeda, Asebi, Odumse and other areas.
He thanked the council for giving him the opportunity and urge them to give him their support and guidance to embark on this journey.
