DONATION OF FOOD ITEMS TO VICTIMS OF THE AKOSOMBO DAM SPILLAGE AT TOKPO.

A group called Dangbe Bi Akpe in the United Kingdom(UK) in collaboration with NADMO on Thursday 15th February,2024 distributed food items to victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage at the safe haven in Tokpo.

The Director of the group Mr. Frank Agbloe and his Wife Mrs. Grace Agbloe, the Assistant Director for the group Mr. Henry Obuabang donated bags of rice, bags of maize, cartons of sardines, cartons of tin fish, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, bails of second-hand clothing, shoes, and bags, etc. to the affected victims under the supervision of the NaDMO Director Nana Asante Boateng.

The Director of the group said they decided to help the victims in a way they can, so that affected victims do not feel abandoned. The three-member delegation presented the food items on behalf of the whole group.

The District NADMO Director Nana Asante Boateng thanked the Dangbe Bi Akpe group for this kind gesture and called on other groups to follow in the footsteps of this group to help the victims in the Shai – Osudoku District.
