THREE SHAI-OSUDOKU STUDENTS GIRLS IN ICT PROGRAM NAMED IN LAST 100 AWARDEES.
Three (3) of Shai Osu-doku's representatives at the Girls in ICT Training were selected as part of the final 100.
Pearl Kobla of Ayikuma R/C, Edina Awate of Ayikuma Methodist and Halima Amadu of Asutsuare Junction were given new Laptop Computers, laptop Bag and a Certificate.
The Girl Child Coordinator was awarded with a Laptop for her effort in preparing the Girls for the Training.
EMBASSY OF ISRAEL, FORESTRY COMMISSION ESTABLISH "JERUSALEM FOREST"
The Forestry Commission in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel have established " Jerusalem Forest" in the Chippa Forest of the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region to mark this year's Green Ghana Day.
In harmony with the occasion, over a thousand trees are being planted in the forest as the Embassy's contribution to combatting deforestation and land degradation in Ghana.
GHANA HIGHWAY AUTHORITY HOLDS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WITH STAKEHOLDERS ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF 23-KM ADENTAN - DODOWA ROAD.
The Ghana Highway Authority has held community engagement with stakeholders in anticipation of the construction of a 23-km road from Adentan to Dodowa.
The stakeholders include community members in Adentan, Dodowa and Kpone katamanso whose business structures would be affected by the exercise.
MANAGEMENT OF CITI TV/CITI FM HANDS OVER 2UNIT BLOCK TO AFFECTED FLOOD VICTIMS IN TOKPO.
The Managing Director Mr.Samuel Attah-Mensah and his Management team has officially handed over resettlement centre to displaced the victims at Tokpo in the Shai-Osudoku District on Wednesday 17th January,2023.
The Centre is designed to accommodate approximately 280 people,it would also free up classrooms which had been used by these persons for students to their lessons.
CITI FM&TV BUILDS SHELTER FOR AKOSOMBO DAM SPILLAGE VICTIMS AT TOKPO IN SHAI -OSUDOKU DISTRICT
The Management of Citi FM and Citi TV on Thursday 26th October,2023 organized an inauguration ceremony at Tokpo in the Shai – Osudoku District to build a resettlement center for the Akosombo dam spillage victims.
As part of their social – economic responsibilities the media house announced that the project, when completed, will be put in the care of the District Assembly headed by the Chief Executive Hon. Fred Offei.
JAPAN EMBASSY INSPECT A COMPLETED 3-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AND 2-UNIT KG BLOCK AT AYENYA.
The Shai- Osudoku District welcomed a team from the Japanese Embassy to inspect a completed 3-unit classroom block and 2-unit KG block at Ayenya on Friday 15th September,2023.
The project was completed in 2020 to help the people in the Ayenya community have access to basic education and also improve teaching and learning.
SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY UNDERTAKES DREDGING EXERCISE ON THE AYIKUMA-DODOWA ROAD.
A dredging exercise has taken place on the Ayikuma-Dodowa road on the 8th August, 2023 to pave way for the easy flow of water and to prevent flooding when it rains.
The District Chief Executive, Hon.Fred Offei, the Deputy NADMO Director, Mr Albert Kwame and the Works Engineer, Mr. Francis Agbo of the Shai Osudoku District Assembly, led the team to inspect and direct the contractors conducting the dredging exercise.

REHABILITATION OF DORYUMU ROAD TO SHAI HILLS JUNCTION..
Doryumu is a suburb in the Shai-Osudoku District and the road leading to the town was in a terrible state partly due to the recent rains. This got the residents in the area agitated.
The Hon. District Chief Executive (Fred Offei)and his team stepped in to improve the state of the road.
Hon.Offei and his team swiftly moved to site with materials and equipment to work on the road between Friday 16th - Friday 23rd June , 2023.
This has brought so much relief to residents and motorist who ply the road .
SHAI-OSDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HANDS OVER A SITE FOR REHABILITATION OF 1.5 KILOMETRE WATERWORKS JUNCTION TO MUERTER FEEDER ROAD UNDER THE GHANA PRODUCTIVE SAFETY NET PHASE II TO THE CONTRACTOR.
On Wednesday, 6th June 2023, the Shai-Osudoku District held a ceremony to hand over the site for Rehabilitation of 1.5km Waterworks Junction to Muerter Feeder Road to the Contractor.
