Osudoku marked the Aadegbor Festival

On Wednesday, 27th September, the people of Osudoku marked the Aadegbor festival with a stakeholder conference to discuss issues pertaining to land disputes among clans and families. Invited guests who graced the event were the MP for the Shai-Osudoku constituency, the DCE for Shai-Osudoku District and the Headmistress for Osudoku SHS. These guest took turns in addressing the audience in an opening remark.

Hon. Daniel Akuffo, DCE for Shai-Osudoku highlighted some flagship programmes of His excellency the President which has taken off. He beseeched the people of the land to position themselves for these programmes which will go a long way to develop the area, by making available land requested by government for the One District One Factory initiative. He also spoke with passion on an issue confronting the district about persons living with HIV. A report from the AIDS committee indicated that these persons resort to prayer camps and are directed by "men of God" to cease their medications and expect a miracle, but some them end up losing their lives. The message from the DCE was for the audience to relay the message to these men of God to desist from this act.

All in all the stakeholder conference was a success.
