Practical Education Network (PEN)

Practical Education Network (PEN), in collaboration with the Shai Osudoku Education Directorate has organised a one-day training on Science Manuals for Basic 1- 6 Facilitators.

PEN seeks to improve opportunities and outcomes in underserved communities through building the capacity of teachers. This is done by equipping STEM teachers to use readily available everyday materials to demonstrate complex science topics.

All Science Facilitators were given a Science Manual after the workshop which was organised in cohorts.

The District Director of Education, Ms. Harriet Lomotey, as part of activities for the Ghanata Cohort, hosted the team from PEN and their partners, Rotary Club from Colorado and Accra West for the official opening of the training.
