SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY CONFERS WITH PAST EXECUTIVES ON MEASURES TO ENHANCE DEVELOPMENT.

The Shai-Osudoku District has held its first ordinary meeting of the 4th Assembly at the Guggisberg Memorial Hall at Dodowa.

The two- day meeting brought together past executives of the Assembly including District Chief Executives(DCEs) and Presiding Members who shared their rich acquired experiences and knowledge whilst in office in an attempt to find sustainable measures to push the frontiers of development the area.

The main purpose of the first day of the General Assembly was set in motion to allow the invited executives share their experience during their time in office.

In a welcome address, the Presiding Member Hon. Noah Sabutey acknowledged the effort of all members within their electoral areas.

He expressed profound appreciation to the invitee past executives for making time to honor the event, adding that it was worth drawing on their experience to serve as a catalyst in the Assembly's quest for equitable and all-inclusive development.

In an unanimous move at the brainstorming session, they advise the assembly members and all the various heads of department to always put the assembly first in their dealings and make sure they work to put the district on the map.

The DCE for Shai-Osudoku , Hon. Fred Offei thanked all the past DCEs and PMs for making time out of their busy schedules to attend the general assembly meeting and bringing their various experiences on board to help develop the district.

On his part, Hon. Sabutey also expressed his gratitude and satisfaction for a successful event and for the goodwill of the past executives towards this cause.

He further assured them that the Assembly's doors were opened to them.

The assembly used the second day to review its achievement in the various development segments such as education, health, security , revenue among others.
