SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY PROCURES FARMING EQUIPMENT AND INPUTS TO PROP UP FARMING COMMUNITIES VICTIMIZED BY RECENT AKOSOMBO DAM SPILLAGE.

The District Chief Executive Hon.Fred Offei and his Management team of the District Assembly will embarked on a humanitarian mission to support farming communities within its catchment area who were affected by the recent Akosombo Dam spillage with farming equipment and inputs to enable them revive their farming operation on Friday 1st December 2023.

To this end, the assembly has, in fulfilment of its social responsibility mandate procured farming equipment, seeds, weedicide, fertilizers,farming machines among others to equip the farming communities revive their farming business.

Following the incident, the Assembly would not be formally observing this year's Farmer's Day Celebration.
