Shai -Osudoku District Holds 2nd Ordinary Meeting.

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly has held its 2nd ordinary meeting of the first session of the seventh assembly.

In his address, the District Chief Executive Hon. Daniel Akuffo said the assembly is working frantically to implement the recommendations from the executive committee and the district's highlighted focused areas such as security, finance, education, health, and disaster management.

He commended the district security for their sense of hard work and devotion to duty, which has resulted in relative peace and order in the district, adding that the Agomeda- Kordiabe police station has been completed and would start operation soon.

On education, He said the assembly has made great leap in infrastructure development and provision of logistical needs of schools.

He said an amount of GHC 24,260 was spent on feeding, accommodation, and utilities concerning the just ended BECE.

The Doryumu Health Centre, he said, has begun full-scale clinical and maternal service.

On the upcoming elections, he urged all and sundry to observe a peaceful election as the Day approaches.
