SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT RECEIVE 8500 COCONUT SEEDLINGS UNDER PLANTING FOR EXPORT AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME.

The Shai-Osudoku District Assembly on Friday 30th August,2024 received 8,500 coconut seedlings under planting for export and rural development. The Presiding Member of the District Hon.Noah Sabutey received the seedlings on behalf of the District Assembly.

He thanked the Government for this initiative and hopes that more of such programmes will be rolled out to help develop the district and create jobs.

He handed over the coconut seedlings to the Agric Department for onward distribution to the farmers.

The District Agric Director Madam Esenam Bonsu thanked the district and the government for this initiative and promised to make sure they distribute the seedlings to the farmers and also monitor to make sure the aim of the program would be achieved.
