SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT RECEIVES DRIP EQUIPMENT’S FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENT.

The District Chief Executive for the Shai-Osudoku District, Hon. Fred Offei on Thursday received equipment from the Government of Ghana led by His Excellency, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP). The DRIP is one of government flagship programmes aimed at helping the various district in the country to provide periodic reshaping of their roads.

The equipment’s are a Tipper Truck, Water Tanker, Grader, and a Backhoe. Hon. Fred Offei in his remakes assures the President and the good people of Shai Osudoku that, the equipment came at the right time.

He further explains that, the road network which has been a challenge for him over the years, will be worked on. He went on to say that, the Dodowa Odumse Afienya road will be worked on while waiting for the contractor to move to site to make the road more motorable for the commuters on that stretch of the road.

He continued by saying that, the other roads like Asebi to Doryumu to Shai Hills Junction, Doryumu to Kordiabe through to Agomeda will be reshaped in no time. Luom Junction to Luom to the Akosombo Highway will also be reshaped.

Asutsuare Junction to Asutsuare, Lanor Junction to Osuwem through to Agortor will also see a facelift. Other major roads in Osudoku are will not be left out. We will work on all our roads in the district.

According to Hon. Fred Offei, the Asutsuare Junction to Asutsuare has been award to a contactor. Also from Asutsuare to Aveime road has also been given to a contractor and the contractor is already on site. He is assuring the people of Osudoku that, the NPP government is working for their good. They have waited patiently and as a listening government, the roads in the Shai Osudoku District will be work on.

He promised to put the equipment into good use so that it's intended purpose will be achieved.
