The Shai Osudoku District Assembly(SODA) in collaboration with Education Charity Foundation, a Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) have commissioned a 1-3-Unit classroom block at the Nuru Islamic Basic School at Dodowa Zongo in Accra.

He said that is the only way they can enter the Senior High School and enjoy the Free SHS.

On his part, the founder of the Foundation, Mr. Obiri Yeboah said the building of the school was made possible after a recommendation from two old students of the school.

He commended the headmistress for her commitment and sense of dedication to the course of events especially throughout the duration of the project.

In an address, the headmistress of the school, Mad. Attu Fadilatu l expressed much appreciation to the NGO for bringing the project to reality.

She said the project had since long been a top priority on the cards of the school authority because before the recent development, the situation negatively affected pupils attendance to school.

She cited instances where pupils would skip school because anytime it rained, the classrooms become flooded resulting from leaking roofs adding however that the development would promote enthusiasm in school attendance.

Also present at the occasion were the chief Imam of Dodowa, District Information Officer, Mrs.Cornelia Asante,Regional Manager of Islamic schools Alhassan Dabone ,the New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate Hon.Benjamin Nargeh and a representative of the Member of Parliament, Hon.
