Furniture to Kindergarten Pupils

The District Chief Executive, Hon. Daniel Akuffo, on behalf of the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly presented 250 tables and 1,500 chairs to kindergarten pupils in the district today, 22nd May, 2018.

Project Overview

Hon. Akuffo stated that this is in line with the Assembly's mission to support the education directorate in order to improve the education sector in the district. He said the Assembly has been providing text books and other stationery to schools in the district and has decided to provide for the little ones this time in a bid to strengthen early childhood development.

The furniture were accepted by the District Education Director, Mrs Elizabeth Akunor Williams on behalf of the Ghana Education Service. She thanked the Assembly for this gesture and like Oliver Twist, asked for more furniture, specifically mono desks to be provided.
