Shai-Osudoku District Assembly Commissions Its District Magistrate Court.
Today, the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, in the Greater Accra Region has commissioned its District Court situated in Dodowa.
The project,which started in 2018 will help to settle disputes peacefully in the District.
The District Chief Executive,Hon.Daniel Akuffo,In his welcome address said,the Assembly will contribute positively to the advancement of effective Justice delivery in the Court.He also thanked the chiefs and Management of Shai-Osudoku for their support.
He further stated,the Dodowa District Court Registrar has submitted to his office the renovation works to be done on the residence of Her worship, the magistrate of the District Court and "I am assuring you that,this will be considered as soon as possible to enable her live and operate in a congenial atmosphere "
The Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Hon.Gloria Akuffo in Her Speech commended the Assembly for their remarkable achievement within this short time and hope the place will be use for the purpose it has been made.
Her Ladyship Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana,Sophia Akuffo commended the District Chief Executive for complying with her directives and having completed the refurbishment of the District Court building with offices consisting of the Magistrate Chambers,Registrar' office,Recorders office,Bailiffs' section, Docket Room,Cashier's office and an ADR room.
