Shai-Osudoku District Chief Executive Tours WASSCE Examination Centres.

The District Chief Executive(DCE)for Shai-Osudoku District Assembly in the Greater Accra Region Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo has embarked on a tour of the centres of the two Senior High schools in the district participating in the West Africa Senior High Schools Certificate Examination( WASHSCE), Osudoku Senior Technical school and Ghanata Senior High school.

The purpose of the tour was to give the candidates moral support and to ascertain compliance with the recommended protocols.

He was accompanied by the District Health Director Rev.Ebenezer Asiamah, District Director of Education Mad. Elizabeth Awoonor, Assistant Director Mr.Yaw Asante Nyarko, Assistant Information Officer Ms.Doreen Asare.

Interacting with the candidates, He advised them to always keep to their books and refrain from behaviors that will mar their chances of success at the examination.

He urged them not to repose their total confidence in "question leakage" without learning adding that they should learn hard while gambling on a set of questions.

He advised them that constant revision would help them imbibe all the information they needed to sail through the exams,adding that their teachers were available to explain difficult issues to them.

Hon. Akuffo reminded the students that the government scholarship scheme was at their disposal and they had the right to apply once they pass their WASSCE.

He commended both teachers and students for keeping to the protocols.

He expressed satisfaction with the smoothness of the conduct of the exercise.

Hon.Akuffo requested to know the challenges facing the students so he could address them.

The District Director of Education, Mrs. Elizabeth Awoonor-Williams,  commended the candidates for the good behaviour and encouraged them to remain focused and study hard.

She further advised them to abstain from all forms of examination malpractices in order not to harm their chances.

Sanitizers, light bulbs and nose mask were distributed to the schools.
