The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) on Monday 16th October,2023 presented some relief items to the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly. The items were received on behalf of the DCE by the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon. Noah Sabutey.
DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD (RELIEF ITEMS) TO THE EVACUATED VICTIMS IN THE SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT.
The Volta River Authority (VRA) in collaboration with the NADMO team led by the Director General & the District NadMO Director Nana Asante Boateng distributed some relief items to the displaced flood victims. This good gesture by the VRA is aimed at alleviating the plight of the victims who have temporarily sacrificed their livelihoods to maintain the integrity of our dam and eventually power the nation.

The District Chief Executive of the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly Hon.Fred Offei Twum, led a team from the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, including a special task force to the affected areas in Asutuare and other Osudoku communities along the lower Volta Basin on Saturday 14th October,2023..
The DCE, the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon.Noah Sabutey, and the team interacted with the affected community inhabitants and assured them of the government's support in these devastating moments.
