STAKEHOLDERS IN EDUCATION MONITOR CONDUCT OF BECE ON FIRST DAY IN SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT.

The District Chief Executive Hon.Ignatious Godfred Dordoe together with the Greater Accra Regional Minister/MP for the Constituency Hon.Linda Akweley Ocloo,the Regional Education Director Hajia Nanthong Attah and the District Education Director Ms.Harriet Lomotey visited all the various centre's in the District to monitor the conduct of ongoing exams.

The purpose of the visit was to boost the morale of candidates and ensure that the whole exercise was smooth sailing in accordance with laid down structures.

A total of 2,541 candidates are sitting for the BECE across nine centres within the district in which 1213 were males and 1318 females.

During the visit, the dignitaries took turns to encourage and wish the candidates well in their examinations.

At the Asutsuare Centres, the Hon. MP and Regional Minister announced the establishment of the Linda Akweley Ocloo Education Fund as part of her commitment to supporting education in the district. 

As her way of support, the Hon. Minister distributed mathematical sets to all candidates and also provided refreshments for both candidates and invigilators.

The team also interacted with supervisors and invigilators and encouraged them to ensure a smooth and incident-free examination process while strictly preventing any form of examination malpractice.
