Public Relations and Complaints Committee Sensitizes Inhabitants On Bye-Laws.

The PRCC of Shai-Osudoku District Assembly on Tuesday 13th April 2021 embarked on a sensitization exercise on the Assembly bye-laws for Unit committee members and some Assembly members of Dodowa at the Dodowa Area council.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the committee Hon. Noah Sabutey, District Information Officer, Mrs.Cornelia Asante-Obeng, Mr. Frank Assimeng, District Budget Analyst, Director for National Commission for Civic Education, Madam Janet Wahiermeh, Ms.Judith Ofosu-Teye, Assistant Director, Chairman for the Dodowa Area Hon.Richard Ajdah Tetteh among others.

The by-laws are meant to control unnecessary noise and irresponsible behaviors in the district. It was also meant to bring all offenders of the law to book and to ease complaints of residents to the District Assembly of their various grievances. 

The prosecutor, Mr. Alex Kwesi Mamphey took the community members through the by-laws and said the by-laws are not to harm the people but to protect and correct them. This law will make the residents of the district do the right things at all times and will also facilitate a peaceful and harmonious coexistence in the district.
