Shai-Osudoku District Education Directorate Implements Common Core Program (CCP)

The Shai-Osudoku District Education Directorate, following the decision to ensure full implementation of the Common Core Programme (CCP) has organised a cluster-based training for all Junior High School (JHS) teachers for the impending year.

The three(3) days programme held at Ghanata Senior High School started today 12th January-14th January 2022 is to help teachers understand the new teaching methods and to equip them.

Gracing the opening, The Chief Servant Hon. Fred Offei Twum wished the teachers a happy New year and advised them to work hard for the District to benefit from the future leaders.

He stated that awards will be given to the best teachers during his tenure of office at the end of the year to appreciate them and encourage others to follow their steps.

The District Education Director, Madam Harriet Lomotey thanked the teachers for coming and encouraged them to appreciate the new curriculum.

Some of the Common Core Programme are Mathematics, Languages, Science, Religious and Moral Education, Physical and Health Education, Career Technology, Social Studies, Computing, Ghanaian Language, French, Creative Arts, and Design.

The total number of Participants in the District is 452.
