EMBASSY OF ISRAEL, FORESTRY COMMISSION ESTABLISH "JERUSALEM FOREST"
The Forestry Commission in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel have established " Jerusalem Forest" in the Chippa Forest of the Shai-Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region to mark this year's Green Ghana Day.
In harmony with the occasion, over a thousand trees are being planted in the forest as the Embassy's contribution to combatting deforestation and land degradation in Ghana.

THE DCE OF SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT HAS SPONSORED A MOCK FOR JSS 3 STUDENTS..
In a bid to enhance academic performance and prepare students for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination, the Shai Osudoku District Assembly has sponsored a District Mock Examination for Students in the District.
This Mock aims to provide students with a practical examination experience and help them gauge their readiness and identify areas they need improvement before the final exams in July.
SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY CONFERS WITH PAST EXECUTIVES ON MEASURES TO ENHANCE DEVELOPMENT.
The Shai-Osudoku District has held its first ordinary meeting of the 4th Assembly at the Guggisberg Memorial Hall at Dodowa.
The two- day meeting brought together past executives of the Assembly including District Chief Executives(DCEs) and Presiding Members who shared their rich acquired experiences and knowledge whilst in office in an attempt to find sustainable measures to push the frontiers of development the area.
The Shai-Osudoku District Education Directorate has won the Zone 2 Inter-District Sports Festival held at the Tema Secondary School.
The District was awarded a trophy for placing 1st in the Sports Festival.
The 2-days Festival, was held from Thursday 23rd- Friday 24th May,2024.The Competition was to select boys and girls to represent Zone 2 at the upcoming Greater Accra Inter Zonal Sports.
The Zone 2 Districts, comprising Shai- Osudoku, Tema Metro, Tema West and Ashaiman competed in Football, Volleyball and Athletics for Boys and Girls.
