The mandate of the National

Ambulance Service is to provide pre pre-hospital emergency care to the sick and the injured.

The Service also attends to cases such as Maternal,Road Traffic accidents(RTAs) and and also transportation of patients from smaller health facilities to referral hospitals for advance or higher medical care.

 We also provide Emergency Health education to cooperate organizations and groups on request.

The National Ambulance Service also provides medical cover or standbys for social events.
