BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTER COMMISSIONED AT SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT.

The Minister for Trade and Industry Hon. Kobina Tahir Hammond, has commissioned a newly -built Business Resource Center at Dodowa in the Shai- Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region.

It was in collaboration with the Rural Enterprises Program under the Ghana Enterprises Agency
which was financed by the African Development Bank and International Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD).

The magnificent edifice or center is the third of its kind built within the Greater Accra Region specifically Weija, Ada Dodowa.

The Minister emphasized that the functions of the BRC was critical to ensure that the industrial agenda of government was achieved.
He said government is bent on expanding this social interventions or agenda to all parts of the country under the developmental agenda of the Government.

 He made a passionate appeal to the Ghanaian trading, commercial and industrial fraternity to reduce the price and help make life a little bearable for the consumer.

The Minister called on the vibrant and teaming youth to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to harness their talents and eschew all forms of negativity that could derail the course of their future aspirations.

He further charged the youth to take their destinies into their own hands, since they represent a larger population of this country and will be the ones to take up the leadership mantles when they were no more.

The DCE for Shai-Osudoku,Hon.Fred Ofei , on his part, made a passionate appeal to the Trade Minister to even do more for the District, as there were vast lands for more developmental projects.

The Minister and his entourage undertook an inspection tour of the facility. A new pick up was delivered to the office to help in the day-to-day administration.
