ESWATINI TEAM VISITS SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY.
A team from Eswatini on Friday 20th september,2024 visited the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly to learn more about the local government system and structures.
The District Chief Executive of the Shai-Osudoku District, Hon. Fred Offei welcomed the team and thanked them for choosing Shai-Osudoku district. He hosted the team at his residence, where the deputy planning officer Ms Dorothy Acquah took them through the local government system and structures.
SHAI-OSUDOKU NADMO HOLDS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WITH TRADITIONAL AUTHORITIES.
The leadership of the National Disaster Management Organization (NaDMO) of Shai-Osudoku District Assembly has held a stakeholders meeting with the traditional authorities of flood affected communities at Tokpo in the Greater Accra Region .
The notable personalities present included the chief of Tokpo the assembly member of Tokpo electoral area and other opinion leaders.

43 Beneficiaries of the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project -Productive Inclusion Component received start up Kits to enable them to undertake selected income Generating Activities (IGAs).
The items totalling over GHC 80,000 were distributed to improve livelihoods of beneficiaries of Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty and Labour Intensive Public Works Program on Monday 20th May,2024.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, Hon.Fred Offei,has met with representatives of the Volta River Authority(VRA)on Wednesday 10th April 2024 at the District Assembly Conference room to discuss how to regulate the dredging activities of some companies along the river banks.
DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS AND ITEMS TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWDs) BY THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF THE SHAI- OSUDOKU DISTRICT ASSEMBLY.
The Social Welfare and Community Development Department of the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly has disbursed some Items and cash to persons with disabilities at the forecourt of the Assembly on Thursday 29th February 2024.
The total amount for both cash and items disbursed was GHS113,796 to 34 Persons with Disability (PWDs) in the Shai-Osudoku District to assist in their education and improve their living situations.

A group called Dangbe Bi Akpe in the United Kingdom(UK) in collaboration with NADMO on Thursday 15th February,2024 distributed food items to victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage at the safe haven in Tokpo.

The District Chief Executive Hon.Fred Offei and his Management team of the District Assembly will embarked on a humanitarian mission to support farming communities within its catchment area who were affected by the recent Akosombo Dam spillage with farming equipment and inputs to enable them revive their farming operation on Friday 1st December 2023.
