On Wednesday 9th September 2020, The Parliamentary Select Committee on Food and Agriculture paid a working visit to the Kpong Irrigation Site at Shai-Osudoku in the Greater Accra Region.

The visit forms part of the oversight responsibility of the Committee who embarked on the trip to acquaint themselves with the development and challenges of the site.

The visit will afford the team the opportunity to assess the state of the site and produce a situation report for onward submission to Parliament.

The District Chief Executive Hon. Daniel Teye Akuffo welcomed the team and briefed them about the commitment of the Assembly to developing and managing the site.

The members of the Committee included Hon.
