On Tuesday, 5th August 2025, the Volta River Authority(VRA), in collaboration with the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly(SODA) organised a workshop on the Emergency Preparedness Plan and Environmental Management Plan at the conference room of the Akuse Club House.
DCE MAKES A COURTESY VISIT TO OSUDOKU TRADITIONAL COUNCIL.
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Shai-Osudoku, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe has made a courtesy visit to the Osudoku Traditional Council stating that meaningful development can not occur in isolation from traditional leadership.
To this end, he said it was important to promote and partner key stakeholders such as the Traditional Council to derive maximum benefit from the development potential of the district.

The District Chief Executive(DCE) of Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe, on Saturday, 22nd June, 2025, met Hairdressers and Dressmakers Associations at Asutsuare Presby Church Auditorium to discuss pertinent issues under the National Apprenticeship Program.
In his opening remarks, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe welcomed all the artisans and thanked them for making time out of their busy schedules to attend.
SHAI-OSUDOKU DCE HOLDS MAIDEN MANAGEMENT MEETING.
The District Chief Executive(DCE) for Shai-Osudoku District Assembly, Hon. Ignatius Godfred Dordoe has held the maiden management meeting with Heads of Department/Unit.
The meeting was intended to familiarize himself with the technocrats and administrative heads who would be playing key roles in the implementation of his outlined vision in the foreseeable to distant future.

STAKEHOLDERS IN EDUCATION MONITOR CONDUCT OF BECE ON FIRST DAY IN SHAI-OSUDOKU DISTRICT.
The District Chief Executive Hon.Ignatious Godfred Dordoe together with the Greater Accra Regional Minister/MP for the Constituency Hon.Linda Akweley Ocloo,the Regional Education Director Hajia Nanthong Attah and the District Education Director Ms.Harriet Lomotey visited all the various centre's in the District to monitor the conduct of ongoing exams.

Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in the Shai-Osudoku District have been motivated by key dignitaries in the District in a brief ceremony held at the Dodowa "Presby B school park".
The dignitaries include the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Linda Ocloo, the District Chief Executive, Hon.Ignatius Dordoe and the District Education Director, Madam Harriet Lomotey.
