    As part of a nationwide exercise, a team from the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, some Assembly Members, that is, Hon. Dennis Nartey and Hon. Isaac Otu Zorh and officials from the Assembly including the District Information Officer and Officers from Works Department visited some proposed sites for the construction of ten-seater toilet facilities in the Shai-Osudoku district.

    This year's independence parade for the district was held at Asutsuare R/C Basic School park. The colorful celebration of Ghana's independence was characterized by cultural display by some school pupils, march past by contingents from both public and private schools, presentation of awards to some schools and addresses by the District Chief Executive and the District Director of Education.

    The District Chief Executive of Shai -Osudoku, Hon. Daniel Akuffo visited the Town and Area councils in the district on Wednesday, 24th January, 2018. The delegation included the District Coordinating Director and the District Information Officer. The Councils in the district are the Dodowa Town Council, Ayikuma Area Council, Osuwem Area Council and Asutsuare Area Council.
